At Samway Grill, we use spices imported from India and prepare every dish fresh. That is what we want you to taste when you sit down with us in Saskatoon. From butter chicken to dal and naan, our food is made with care. Come for a lunch special, bring the family for dinner, or take your favourite meal home.
Good flavour starts with the spices
Indian food gives you more to enjoy than chilli heat. There is the cumin and garlic in our Dal Tarka, the aromatic spices in biryani, and the tandoori seasoning on chicken before it goes into the clay oven. Each dish has its own flavour. We want those differences to come through when you try something new.
Our menu guide helps you choose between a tomato-based curry, a creamy sauce and a tandoori dish. If you enjoy garlic and lentils, start with Dal Tarka. If a rich tomato butter sauce is what you came for, choose Butter Chicken. You do not need to know every spice to find a meal you will enjoy.
Fresh dishes and bread from the clay oven
We prepare our dishes fresh, and our naan and roti are baked fresh to order in the clay oven. Warm bread with curry is one of the simplest ways to enjoy a Samway meal. Plain Naan, Butter Naan and Garlic Naan each give you a different choice alongside the same main.

Samway Grill is a chef-owned Indian restaurant on 8th Street East. Sam’s cooking journey has taken him through Thailand, Calgary and Saskatoon.
