Plan an Indian dinner for two without duplicating every side
Planning Indian dinner for two is easier when you decide whether you want a ready-listed combo or your own combination. Samway Grill offers both routes. A quick look at what is already included can help you avoid adding extra rice, naan or starters that you did not really mean to order.
Check the two-person combos first
Samway’s menu lists a Vegetarian Combo for two with Vegetable Samosas, Aloo Gobi, Chana Masala, Plain Naan, steamed rice and pops. The Non Vegetarian Combo for two lists Vegetable Samosas, Butter Chicken, Chana Masala, Plain Naan, steamed rice and pops. The live menu has the current quantities and prices.
These names describe the listed packages; they are not a guarantee about everyone’s appetite. If either combination suits both diners, it gives you a straightforward starting point. Compare the group combo menu before building a separate basket with similar components.
For your own combination, choose contrast
Start with the dish you are most excited about, then choose a second dish with a different main ingredient or sauce. Butter Chicken and Chana Masala, for example, take different approaches to a tomato-based meal. A paneer curry alongside Dal Tarka introduces another texture without needing a meat dish.
If both diners want the same curry, there is no requirement to order a second style. The point is to build a meal you will enjoy, not to cover the menu. Our curry comparison helps if you are trying to agree on one chicken dish.
Decide what the bread and rice are for
Bread is useful for scooping, while rice lets each person combine sauce in a bowl or on a plate. You may want one, both, or neither if biryani is the centre of your meal. Check the whole basket before adding sides to each main separately.
If you choose a combo, read its contents first because bread and rice may already be included. If you are choosing dishes individually, the naan or roti guide explains the main bread options. A starter or dessert can then be a deliberate addition instead of another automatic extra.
Choose dine-in, pickup or delivery
For a restaurant meal, use the visit page to find Samway Grill on 8th Street East in Saskatoon and contact the team with any seating questions. For an evening at home, review the pickup or delivery choices in the online ordering menu. Availability and timing are shown during ordering.
If the two diners have different ingredient requirements, check those before agreeing on a shared dish. A short call to the restaurant is more useful than guessing from a photograph or assuming a combo can be changed.
